Astrology VS Christianity

There's a big issue that angers some, contradicts most, and confuses all the others, and that is whether believing in astrology is going against Christian values and teachings. To be honest, I'm no expert in this field, but I've been curious about this topic for a while and it led me to find some answers that I want to share...

Firstly, everyone needs to know that there's a difference between reading your star sign quality traits, and reading your horoscopes. Horoscopes are the ones that you read in newspapers or magazines that tell you how you need to cope for the day, week, month or year. Many people see horoscopes as fortune telling, and are therefore against it. Reading your star sign quality traits, on the other hand, is actually recommended, as it is an opportunity to understand the differences, similarities and compatibility between ourselves and others more deeply.

"Star Signs are actually ancient wisdom that we would do well to take more notice of."
Secondly, I found that the Bible speaks of the "natural man" and the "spiritual man."
The "natural" traits are those we are born with, of the flesh.

The "spiritual" traits are those that we take on when we're "born again" and grow ever more like Jesus as we follow Him and are guided by His word.

As a result of my research, I strongly believe is that star sign quality traits should definitely be studied. That way, strengths and weaknesses can be understood on a deeper level and be used to become a better person. Additionally, reading horoscopes should definitely be avoided, or, at least, believing in them should be avoided, because only God has the power to direct our future and, when we need help, he is the one we should look to for guidance.

What the Bible actually condemns is the worship of stars as if they were Gods. The Bible has absolutely no problem with the idea of stars being the messengers of God or symbols of the will of God.
